BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
Margie Archer is a seasoned Senior Financial Advisor with more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. She is dedicated to helping clients pursue their financial goals through thoughtful, customized planning and a highly personal approach. Margie specializes in serving high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners, delivering tailored strategies designed to address both short- and long-term objectives.
Her areas of focus include portfolio construction, retirement planning, and insurance strategies. As a Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, Margie offers access to a wide range of affiliated services, including wealth planning, private banking, trust services, and insurance solutions. Her approach to wealth management is consultative, objective, and grounded in a commitment to excellence.
Margie began her career as a Vice President with Hamilton Investments in Chicago, Illinois, before joining Smith Barney, where she served as Vice President of Wealth Management for 15 years. She later transitioned her practice to Wells Fargo Advisors in Atlanta, Georgia, where she founded Archer Wealth Management.
Archer Wealth Management was named in honor of Margie’s father—a man of strength, integrity, and unwavering character who always put others first. These values are the foundation of her practice. Margie built her firm to reflect a philosophy centered on trust, honesty, and genuine care for the people she serves.
EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS
Margie earned her Bachelor of Business degree with a concentration in Economics and Finance from Illinois State University. She is a PIM Portfolio Manager and holds the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®) designation. In 2026, she further strengthened her expertise by earning the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designation, enhancing her ability to guide business owners through the transition from ownership to retirement income strategies.

AWAY FROM THE OFFICE
A former Division I tennis player, Margie, remains active and enjoys both tennis and pickleball. She is also an avid golfer and competed on the USA Porsche Golf Team in 2023 in Mallorca, Spain, as part of the Porsche World Tour—an experience she values greatly.
Beyond her professional work, Margie is deeply committed to giving back. She supports numerous organizations focused on children, health, and animal welfare, including the American Red Cross, Susan G. Komen Foundation, American Heart Association, Habitat for Humanity, and various dog adoption agencies across Georgia.
Family remains at the center of Margie’s life. She is a proud aunt to many nieces and nephews, whom she has supported and mentored into adulthood. She also cherishes time spent with her six great-nephews, especially at their shared family retreat in Hilton Head Island—affectionately known as “their” beach house.
